The Kitchen Queens: Jessamanee (Daphine or DaeDae) Dean and Vernessa Spencer are our February Mission Possible Employees of the Month. These two ladies have worked many long hours to cover the shifts in the kitchen when it was short staffed. They go above and beyond on a daily basis. They work hard everyday to ensure the kitchen continues to run smoothly.
So what is it like to work in the kitchen?
“It is hot, demanding, fast paced and deadlines have to be met. We have to make sure that there is enough food to feed everyone and make sure the meals are prepared nutritiously and appetizing for everyone. It is nice to see a client happy about their meals and it makes the job worth while!”
Daphine started in April of 2010 and Vernessa started in September of 2010. Both these ladies do a fabulous job and we are grateful to have them on the PNS team!
