Give The Shelter is a local, nonprofit organization, which operates on a $4.5 million campus-wide budget. Only a small percentage of the budget is subsidized by government sources; therefore, the Shelter relies on donations to operate. Box 2645, Fort Worth, Texas, 76113. Needed toiletries, towels, blankets and MORE ... PNS also depends on donations of a variety of goods in order to continue our programs. Unfortunately, we have minimal storage space, and in order to be good stewards of your donated items, we are limited on what donated items we are able to accept. Therefore, we ask that you limit your donations to our greatest needs. Please click here for a list. We also ask that you only donate gently used, season-appropriate clothes. We do not have room to store winter clothes in the summer and summer clothes in the winter. THE CLOTHES YOU ARE DONATING ARE A GIFT TO THE HOMELESS - PLEASE ENSURE YOUR GIFTS IS WELL RECEIVED BY ONLY DONATING CLOTHES THAT ARE IN GOOD SHAPE ... no holes, stretching, or stains. Items may be dropped off Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the back door of the Main Shelter (south side of the building) at 2400 Cypress Street, one block south of E. Lancaster. The Presbyterian Night Shelter is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation. Contributions are deductible for federal and state income tax purposes as provided by law. This opportunity allows Tom Thumb shoppers to link their Rewards cards to the Presbyterian Night Shelter's account, and when you make a purchase, that amount is automatically credited to PNS' account. It's free to sign up - all you have to do is shop! To sign up, go to a Tom Thumb store and fill out a Reward Application form at any courtesy booth and indicate that you would like to link your card to PNS.
